At least as of 12:15 pm 1-17-22, the previously reported pigeon guillemot was still being seen by multiple birders just seaward of the breaking surf off La Jolla shores as viewed from La Jolla shores (per John Dumlao) and from a higher vantage point from the viewpoint just ENE of La Jolla Cove and from the trail uphill from and ENE of the seacave shell shop.  It is very distant, frequently out of view behind the large waves, or diving.  Thanks to Nancy, Mel, Paula, Geoff, Dave, and the rest of you for an enjoyable search and re-find!
