Chestnut-sided Warbler (UCSD) and Brewer's Sparrow (Ocean Air) continue

The Chestnut-sided Warbler was at its usual spot this morning at 8:40, on the grass on the same corner of Athena Circle and Medical Center Drive. It likes the Pride of Madeira. Lime green color with chestnut patch is obvious. NOTE: Got a text later in the day that it was not around, so morning may be more reliable.

The Brewer’s Sparrow is still at Ocean Air Rec Center. It is in with a large flock of White-crowned Sparrows and a single Lincoln’s Sparrow. Today, the flock was at the very southernmost grass area, sometimes hanging out on the sidewalk. This is a small, thin, very plain sparrow with a very long tail. See Eve Martin’s report from Wednesday for pics. The exact GPS this morning at 9:45 is: 32.926185,-117.218102
