Cape May, etc. 12/10

The Lake Murray Cape May Warbler was moving around a bit this morning. It started off in its favorite euc at the edge of Alvarado Bay, moved east to the closest pink flowering euc, and then, calling, north to a pale yellow flowering euc right across the road from the two "do not enter" signs to the upper parking lot. The male Vermilion Flycatcher was flycatching along the north shore of Padre Bay. The Horned Grebe and Canvasback continue in their respective spots. Jim had at least one each Northern Rough-winged Swallow and Barn Swallow with the 35+ Tree flock. There was also a male Phainopepla flycatching on the south side of Alvarado Bay along with two Least Bitterns.
