If anyone is still looking for a Baird's sandpiper, there is at least one fairly cooperative bird along the south edge of Pond 22 at the salt works, which is probably one of Matt's birds from a few days ago, and is the pond right at the end of 13th Street. From the end of the street walk across the bike trail and continue north on the dirt path another 40 ft so that you can then scope the south shoreline of the pond looking east.
