I have two Pinyons at 32.878951,-116.431743 currently, though they are ridiculously far out there, looking east and downward. One of them is calling somewhat infrequently. There is a small trail that starts at 32.875557,-116.430527 and it's an uphill climb to my coords. There is a fallen tree at the spot and it's just before some fenced in equipment and a trail marker. Note this trail does run alongside fenced off private property so please don't wander into someone's land.

I parked at the visitor's center and walked down but there is a massive dirt turnout right at the little trailhead with tons of room to park.
