Mel and I birded on private property up in the Lagunas today. Numerous warblers visiting the water feature there. Best bird was a Virginia Warbler. Other species included Hermit, Wilson’s Nashville, Black-throated Gray, Yellow, Orange-crowned. While the Virginia is NOT chaseable, folks should keep in mind that anyplace with water will be a magnet for birds. Time to start watching all of those spots known to have water – even a leaky faucet!
