This morning while doing the Torrey Pines State Reserve bird survey, Kathy Estey and I saw two very young Yellow-crowned Night-Herons in the Los Penasquitos Lagoon. One was just east of the railroad bridge and the other was east of the entrance to the TPSR north beach parking lot.
