Virginia's Warbler, University City, 10 Oct 2019
A Virginia's Warbler was feeding in a ‘Tipu' tree at 10:00 this morning, at my senior apartment complex, Gullstrand south of Governor Dr.
It may be ‘chaseable’, just in case somebody is

Summer tanager at Buddy Todd Park
I spotted a Summer Tanager in Buddy Todd Park this morning in the Torrey pines near the basketball court. It flew into the thick pines and ficus trees to the west and I haven’t relocated it yet.

Borrego Springs Golf Course Closes
The Borrego Springs Resort & Country Club has closed its golf course and let the maintenance staff go. Apparently it supplies water to the Club Circle course and pond, and that looks to be in jeopardy
