Lucy was a bad girl

Since no one reported on the Lucy’s Warbler reported yesterday at Villa La Jolla Park, your suspicions are probably correct, it was apparently a no show today.  I was there from about 8:10 to 10 a.m., along with at least 6-8 other birders at various times, and it had not been seen by 10 a.m..  The park, however, is very birdy, and among the many species seen there by others and/or myself were Townsend’s and OC Warblers, W. Tanager, Bullock’s Oriole, W. Bluebirds, Juncos, Nuttall’s Woodpeckers, Cassin’s Kingbirds, Hutton’s Vireo, and a gazillion LEGOs (OK, maybe 20-30).
