Eastern Phoebe at Whelan Lake

An Eastern Phoebe was seen by many today during the monthly Whelan Lake walk. The bird was frequenting the shrubs just northeast of the lake, near the trail that leads down to the wastewater plant. It spent a lot of time deep in the brush, and only came out in the open for a few minutes. Photo in the eBird checklist below:
