Re the BF, the TBKI is still there

For those who are keeping track of the local rarities for possible Bird Festival spotting, this morning (Tues.) at 9 a.m. the Thick-billed Kingbird was in (one of) its favorite trees, namely the leafless tree closest to the parking lot road directly across from the swimming pool.  If you haven’t been there before, drive to the end of Regency Court (which is a short ways west of the Main St. exit off I-805); park, and walk left about 50 yards until you’re near the swimming pool and look at the leafless trees on your left.  If he’s not there scan the tops of all the other trees in the vicinity, including those on the far side of the greenbelt.  If still no TBKI, welcome to the club.
