Cormorants have flown East

The flock of about 20 double-crested cormorants and the one adult neotropic Cormorant have flown East upriver to points unknown. However, Trent Stanley tells me that he saw probably the same flock coming down river from near the San Diego Mission earlier this morning but didn't study them closely. He also says that probably the same flock roosts on wires over or next to the river in the general area where Friars Road becomes Mission Gorge Road, not far from the Admiral Baker golf course. So clearly this would be a place to check very early or very late in the day.
