Mavoi Satum is a non-profit founded in 1995 to provide legal and emotional support to women who have been refused a Jewish divorce (get). It is one of the leading organizations engaged in finding a solution to the problem of divorce refusal in the State of Israel. 

Ali Zak is a senior at Washington University who worked as a volunteer for Mavoi Satum this past summer.
