Anti BDS Legislation Update

Michael Minoff

Dear Friends:

Now is the time to stand up and be counted once again in the late hours of the legislative session. An Anti-BDS bill is moving swiftly through the Missouri House and, with your help, we can try to get it over the finish line this time. Please contact your legislators before MONDAY. Below is an easy link to find out who is your State Rep and Senator and below that is suggested language to send in an email to them:

Subject line: PLEASE VOTE IN FAVOR OF HB 1006

To: State Representative __________________

I write to you today, on behalf of many like-minded individuals, worried about the spread in the United States of the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement against Israel - the only democracy in the Middle East, our country’s staunch ally in the fight against terrorism, and an important trade partner of Missouri. I urge you to vote for House Bill 1006 (Rehder) when it comes up for the 3rd reading next week, so it can move to the Senate for a vote. With your support, Missouri can be the 28th state to enact anti-BDS legislation and send a clear and unequivocal message that hate and discrimination has no place in our State’s economic policies.
