I haven’t been out birding for fun much at all lately, so I apologize that I haven’t gotten much out to these lists in recent years. But I did just hear at least one Pinyon Jay in the Glenshire neighborhood of Truckee. As unmistakeable as that call is, it was especially fresh in my mind after a visit to Travertine Hot Springs in Bridgeport last Saturday.
