During the Mid-Winter Bald Eagle Count this morning, Jenny Sweatt found an Aleutian Cackler mixed in with the typical Canadas, in the lake, straight off the Tahoe Keys HOA pier. All the geese flew off to the east (towards Edgewood Golf Course, perhaps). Photos are here:
