Birders-
I found an American dipper at the state park just now. It’s hanging out along Knickerbocker Creek where the trail crosses. You can find how to hike there using a park map. I’m guessing the elevation to be about 750 - 1,000 ft asl. I had to wait around for around 20 minutes for the bird but the scat on the rocks indicated it was here. It was foraging very actively in the water. Craig Swolgaard Georgetown. CA
