I found an American dipper at the state park just now. It’s hanging out along Knickerbocker Creek where the trail crosses. You can find how to hike there using a park map. I’m guessing

Both Black and White-winged Scoters were seen again by Scott Dietrich and others today. I believe these have been best spotted from the eastern edge of the beach in front of the Upper Truckee Marsh.

PS - the massive flush of water LAST weekend motivated a Kokanee run up Taylor Cr., so that’s attracting gulls and eagles and such, and hopefully this bird will stick around. If anybody sees it
