35th annual Narrow Gauge Convention

Howdy !

 

Writing to share some updates as of April for

  the  2015 National Narrow Gauge Convention

    that is coming up in September, in Houston, Texas.

 

This is an event for any modeler or prototype fan, of both narrow and standard gauge. 

 

Here are just some of the items added to the website in the last couple months...

- several layouts have been added to the Home tours and the Hotel exhibits

- an On30 display layout is being built for the event, see monthly progress photos online

- a lot of Clinics are listed and still adding some more

- a tentative schedule for the 4 days is online

- a Saturday night Auction is planned

- possible  Texas State Railroad  charter trip is being discussed

 

The Convention Hotel has been sold out of King size rooms and Double Rooms are almost gone. 

We will add the off-site hotel information afterwards.  If you want to stay the event hotel, go reserve your room soon.

The Convention is less than 5 months ago.  And the pre-Registration fee goes up on June 1st.

Did you know on April 21st, 1836,  just 179 years ago this week,  near present day Houston,

  was the Battle of San Jacinto,  the final battle for Texas independence from Mexico ?
