We have a small strawberry patch, which has been quite productive this year. 

We haven’t been able to eat very many as most are chewed in half each morning.  I thought it was bugs or snails, but found the culprit...my neighborhood California Scrub-Jay.  He ate 3-4 just this morning.  

So watch out for the rascals if you have a patch yourself.
