I took a walk through the nature area of Lodi Lake this morning. I totaled 44 species. Highlights included a pair of RB Nuthatch on Laurel Ave, 6 Sparrow species including the tan-striped White-throated Sparrow and a single lingering Varied Thrush.
The area was very birdy with species such as RC Kinglet and Fox Sparrow singing. I also got to watch a courtship display from a pair of Flickers.
Enjoy the weekend as best you can.
