Black-throated gray warbler?
Judy Kane
Hi All,
Can you confirm that one of the birds in this video (Ring on our pondless waterfall) is a Black-throated gray warbler? It has a lot of white on its back but other than that seems to be one. I'm able to "spy" on the birds by looking at the videos and lately there are so many birds it almost records constantly. We had a Townsend's warbler a few days ago, too. Oh, we are on Mosher Creek in north Stockton.
Thanks!
Judy

Yep, it sure looks like one. So, your Ring records when there’s bird movement? How fun!

Thanks for your input, this has been a good year for birds in our yard, but maybe it's because we are paying more attention to the camera recordings. Also, since we cleaned the waterfall there is more sound of falling water so that probably attracts them, too. At first I thought it was too much water flowing for them, but I think they were sizing it up and daring each other to be the first one to jump in the pool! There is an Anna's or 2 that are the first ones in the morning to take a dunk, holding on tight to the edge!
