This morning there was a juv Ruff on Staten Island. It's quite big, so probably a male. It was in the flooded fields on the west side of Staten Island Rd about 1/2 mile past where the pavement ends. It was in the south most flooded field that has lots of exposed mudflats with lots of other shorebirds.
