Laughlin Park today

All:

Laughlin Park had a nice assortment of fall migrants again this morning. There was a mixed flock in the oaks at the southwest corner of the park that had two Wilson’s Warblers (male and female), two Black-throated Gray Warblers (male and female), a Pacific Slope Flycatcher, and a Western Wood-Pewee. That was all in my 15 minutes at the park!  Elsewhere in the park I had a Western Tanager, a Townsend’s Warbler, another Pacific Slope Flycatcher, and another Wilson’s Warbler. Other than the migrants, overall diversity and numbers were lower than usual.

Good birding.
