Laughlin Park this morning

All:

There was another nice fallout of migrants at Laughlin Park this morning. I had my seasonal first Townsend’s Warbler in a small flock that included three Warbling Vireos and a Yellow Warbler. In the willows and tules along Bear Creek, I had another Yellow Warbler and two Orange-crowned Warblers. I then ran into Rich and Kasey, and Kasey spotted another mixed flock that had one each of Townsend’s, Black-throated Gray, Yellow, and Wilson’s Warblers.  We also spotted a Pacific Slope Flycatcher, and just before I headed home, a Western Wood-Pewee (also a seasonal first) made an appearance.

Good birding!
