MacGillivray's Warbler at Bear Creek bike trail
The MacGillivray's was skulking low along the trail in the willows west of Faklis Park. Other bird highlights were one Yellow Warbler, two male Western Tanagers in the sun high in a cottonwood, and one Black-headed Grosbeak singing. A male Northern Harrier hunted across the fields. Mammal highlights were three River Otters, one on its own east of Faklis, and two together to the west, occasionally chirping to each other.
