San Joaquin Audubon has recently received notice of the passing of our friend and colleague Walt McInnis on Sept 25 this year in Tracy. Walt served many years representing the Tracy area on our board, including as president in the early 2000s. His family has invited his friends in the birding community to a Celebration of Life on Saturday, November 23, from 1-2 pm at the Tracy Transit Station, Rms 103 & 104, 50 E 6th St, Tracy, CA. Walt’s sharp wit and self-deprecating manner will be missed.
