Friends
There is currently a flock of 10 MOBL near the end of Cord Rd. They are in a field across from the typical Burrowing Owl spot. Look for ranch entrance with a rust colored fence.

Northern Harrier courtship display at Bear Creek bike trail
Nan B and I were fortunate this morning to observe a male Harrier doing his loop-the-loops and briefly flying upside down. Spectacular. I've only seen this once before - at the Pace Preserve near

This Stockton birding site is the current Audubon DIY focus. Shortly after it opened at 8 this morning, Pat Paternostro and I both showed up, so we birded together (at an appropriate covid distance).
