Oak Grove/Ripon plus "heads up" San Joaquin
All,
I ended up at Oak Grove/Ripon this morning. Lots of activity, but very little warbler action detected.
Note: Following up on notices from John Sterling, Dan Singer, and Cliff Hawley, SJ Co

Re: Saturday birding
Great photos.
There are also 20 Mallard ducklings in the water hazard on the 4th green at the Brentwood Golf Course. It’s across the street from Apple Hill Park and at the end of my Deer Creek dog

Saturday birding
I birded a few places around Stockton today; nothing too exciting species wise. I did run across a couple mothers at Swenson Park, so I thought I’d share some pics, being that it’s Mother’s Day

Common poorwill
Just seen at Stockton Rural Cemetery, north-East of office. Flies around and lands on the ground in the shade of trees near the trunks.
Sorry for the blurry photo but it’s a picture from the back
