Mid-morning today there was a very vocal/territorial Western Wood Pewee working the edge of the lower ravine (north side) on Mount Davidson. This is a very late date for a spring migrant.
Pewees did nest on Mount Davidson in 2011 and 2013 so it is worth keeping an eye out for.
