Virginia’s warbler log cabin trail GG park

Rachel Lawrence

Just before complete darkness I spotted a Virginia’s warbler (probable first year) in the trees that divide east meadow and the log cabin meadow. The trees run north from log cabin trail to the join of JFK and stow lake drive. The bird favored a small sycamore/maple type tree that is turning yellow/red on the West side of the path.
Good birding
