There are birds

Scott Bowers

I have seen all of the people regarding a slow migration.  I went to Yosemite Slough yesterday at low tide.  There were probably a few thousand peeps there
with all of the usual subjects represented.  In fact, I do not recall ever seeing that many sandpipers in San Francisco in the past 20 years, but maybe I was out of town.
Many baby Canada geese.  An avocet was skillfully chasing a raven away from its territory, I was surprised, it seemed like the avocet was
a better flyer than the raven.
