Termite hatch in east-side GG Park

Rudyard Wallen

Hey folks, so far it’s been all the usual suspects but there are small termites flying out of pretty much anywhere there is a mulch pile. Northern Flickers coming down to the ground, Western Tanagers flycatching, Mixed flock of sparrows, and a few singlets and Hutchins furious… mixed flock of sparrows, and a few singlets and Hutton’s Vireos. A female Acorn Woodpecker flew in for a minute.  Haven’t seen anything out of the ordinary yet but this will probably go on throughout the day, until it starts raining again.  Likely it is going on park wide.

Cheers
