Northern Waterthrush at Lake Merced

I found a Northern Waterthrush at the “swamp trail” (I don’t know if that’s what it’s formally called.) This is the unmarked path along the lake at the east side of the concrete bridge, north of and below the penguin statue. Waterthrush was at the first swampy spot about 50 yards in. Bird was very gray and white with super pronounced supercilium and heavily streaked breast. Waterthrushes have wintered at this spot in past years.
