Feeding on the amphitheater lawn with Eurasian-Collared doves and then mourning doves. I got prolonged looks at the bird before they all took off. Doves don't usually amass to feed on this lawn but they may have been avoiding more exposed areas to escape notice from the merlin and hawks. I'm going to go back with my camera to see if I can get a picture.
