I saw my first Western Kingbird in San Francisco on Bernal Hill this morning atop a tree flycatching. I was in San Diego a couple of weeks ago and they were all over the place—that's the only reason I knew what this bird was this morning (I'm a bit new at this). I guess they're making their way here now.
Yesterday morning I'm pretty sure I briefly saw a Bullock's Oriole at Rolph Playground (Hampshire near Cesar Chavez). I've never officially seen one before so I can't make the call 100% but the rich orange color offset by the dark black seems pretty distinctive. I'll keep a look out!
