This is also very interesting to me. Thanks for the report. In migration the Gray Flycatcher usually gives a dry "whit" or "wit" call which is indistinguishable to my ear from that given by the Dusky

This is a very interesting observation. Dusky Flycatcher gives a series of "deee" notes, sometimes followed by a "hick" note on the breeding grounds. It often sounds sort of like "deee deee deee hick"
