This past Tuesday morning, 9/4, Bayview Hill was generally
hot and quiet. The highlight was a male Nuttall's Woodpecker.
The only other migrants present were two Western Tanagers
and a Bullock's Oriole.
Yesterday, 9/6, I stopped briefly on top of Twin Peaks.
There was a nice burst of activity in the gully to the west
of the main ravine, with 3 Black-headed Grosbeaks,
quite a few Western Tanagers, one Western Wood-Pewee,
one Townsend's Warbler, and 3 Wilson's Warblers.
