Fort Mason Townsend's Solitaire, MacGillivray's Warbler

David Assmann

A TOWNSEND'S SOLITAIRE flew over the Battery this morning and landed in the Cypress tree at the end of the cul-de-sac.  It was only there for 10-15 seconds and then flew off. Other birds this morning included a MACGILLIVRAY'S WARBLER, 3 WESTERN TANAGERS, 1 HOODED ORIOLE, 6 YELLOW WARBLERS, 1 ORANGE-CROWNED WARBLER, 1 RED-BREASTED NUTHATCH and 1 WILSON'S WARBLER. A bold BEWICK'S WREN was in the western half of the garden, and a HOUSE WREN was vocalizing on the other side of the garden.
