Mt Davidson, Saturday

Adam Winer

Highlight of a visit to Mount Davidson this morning was an adult male ROSE-BREASTED GROSBEAK moving mid-level near the 4-x trail intersection above the Myra Way entrance.

Perhaps rarer, given the season, was a very late RUBY-CROWNED KINGLET near the summit.

Other migrants on the mountain included two or three Lazuli Buntings, two Yellow Warblers, two Townsend's Warblers (also getting a bit late) and one each Warbling Vireo and Western Tanager.
