That's unfortunate . As a rule whether you're going to the market, the mall, the park, wherever always stop someplace else before and get everything that you need in and out of either the backseat of your car or the trunk so that when you get to your destination you just exit the car. Always assume there's somebody watching you.

and led by Alan Hopkins, when we came to the parking lot around 12:10 pm,
a car belonging to one of the couples on the walk had been broken into.
The driver's door window was mostly smashed out and a purse was stolen from the trunk.

What may have happened is that there was a lookout, watching for someone
to put something in a trunk. Then, soon after that person left the area,
the car was broken into.
