Car break-in, Heron's Head Park

William Grant

At the end of a bird walk organized by San Francisco Nature Education,
and led by Alan Hopkins, when we came to the parking lot around 12:10 pm,
a car belonging to one of the couples on the walk had been broken into.
The driver's door window was mostly smashed out and a purse was stolen from the trunk.

What may have happened is that there was a lookout, watching for someone
to put something in a trunk. Then, soon after that person left the area,
the car was broken into.

Be careful.
