Chestnut-sided warbler at SFZoo

Allan Ridley

A chestnut-sided warbler was foraging in pines just to the east of the hippo enclosure with a mixed flock that included a bright, male Townsend's warbler, c.b.chickadees, pigmy nuthatches and starlings . First returning gold-crowned sparrows were scratching about nearby with song sparrow and CA towhee.
