Swamp Sparrrow etc.

Today, Sunday, there was a Swamp Sparrow along the north shore of South Lake in Golden Gate Park. There were also lots of more common birds including Orange-crowned Warbler, Common Yellowthroat and many Hermit Thrushes eating the Wax Myrtle berries in the northwest corner of the lake, this spot is worth watching. There was still one Western Tanager in the euc at Middle Lake along with lots of yellow-rumps. North Lake was quiet.

There was a Veried Thrush calling in the East Wash.
