Rapido is taking reservations for a wood 40' box car which is prototypically-correct for the c1930 SDA 7000 series box cars. They were numbered 7000 to 7002 (3 cars). It would be necessary to order the box car red SP product (B50-16) and then paint over (probably prototypical) the SP logo and re-letter the "SP" and number to "SD&A" and add the desired number. The announced price is steep: $55 USD. for a single car. Also available in a 3-pack for $165 (no bargain). See attached. Reed's in San Diego also issued a wood SD&AE box car numbered 7001 but it had the wrong ribbing, the wrong trucks, and did not have Dreadnaught ends, because it was just re-lettered from an existing Accurail product. Note that these box cars were 40' long, not 50', despite the SP class B50-16
