For some more information, the radio's meter does switch to SWR. However RSS shows power no matter what. I don't know if this is a limitation of the TS-2000.

It appears to me than on the TS-2000 remote, the meter will stay on power out, which is what is set by default. The setting in advanced settings has no effect. Am I correct? HNY

TS-2000 RIT Randomly Coming On

#hamlib
This may be a question for the HamLib group but I wanted to ask this group first as it specifically restricted to RigPi and even further to the TS-2000. The issue is somehow RIT is getting turned on.

TS-2000 won't stay at 100 Watts

I upgraded the Hamlib to the latest which fixed the problem of the power creeping up to around 80 watts. Now, however, I can't get the power to stay up to 100 watts for HF. It keeps dropping back down

Change to memory channel not reflected in frequency display
#ts2000
Perry, I know what you mean. I've used that program too and remember reading that! I did go ahead and program macros to just enter the frequencies into VFO A along with PL tones for 2 meter repeaters.

Doug, this is a Hamlib issue. Hamlib is the library used to control radios. In the RigPi Help manual in the Technical section you will see instructions for updating to the latest Hamlib beta version.

RIgPi Kenwood TS-2000 TUNER button problem

That sounds like RF getting into the Pi and locking it up. When you "tune", the radio see all sorts of crazy mismatches as the tuner seeks low SWR. That can cause RFI even though you are in low power
