TS-2000 70 & 23 CM
#ts2000
Is there any reason there isn’t a band button for 70 & 23 CM bands on the screen of v2 of RSS? I was hoping it was an oversight that would be corrected in v2.

Python is your friend for GPIO… just Web search for “RPi GPIO Python Example” and you’ll get many example scripts. Perry – K4PWO

Hi Mike I have not used it myself but you can set Macros to trigger system commands. See the section on System Commands in the help. You would write your own simple executables using python (or others

FT-920 and audio receive and transmit
OK Tom in that case just plug the usb cable from the Signalink into the RigPi and leave the existing Signalink to FT-920 connections as is. In WSJT audio your Signalink will be listed as USB Codec. Sa

Rigpi2 software anyway to directly control GPIO pins with macros ?
Hi Mike, RigPi currently supports three ways of switching external devices. Two of them are through a USB port and the third is by using the PTT line from the CW Keyer board which has been repurposed

Yes. You can create macros to control some RPI output pins. Pages 102 and 103 describe how to do this. !SWn where n is 0-7 This function requires a special USB cable: FTDI C232HM (C232HM-EDHSL-0). Thi
