Hi Ken,

You shouldn't have to start rigctld manually.  RigPi's use of rigctld is a bit more complex a normal application.  RigPi connects to rigctld through a TCP socket.   The socket connection can also cause problems.

Try rebooting, the run Test Radio to see what it says.

The index errors you see when starting hamlibDo are a result of variables not being defined.  Test Radio should tell us more without mods to hamlibDo.php.
