I've had no issues at all with the RPi zero 2W running off the battery mentioned. I am also powering a small USB extender to allow 3 devices to be connected to the single Pi port. I recall some folks

Just in case you hadn't seen it, this video walks you through a BAP installation, Tryg. For the Pi-zero I only selected the minimum of programs to include to run WSJT-X. I installed LinPSK and Fldigi

Thanks, Tryg. Yes, you can run this setup in the field away from any WiFi network or phone connection and run headless, connecting to an Android tablet. It helps to be using an UPS dongle to get accur

If nothing else is needed, use one of your older Pi units to run PiHole. I have a RPi Zero W sitting by itself in the shack, connected to only an old cell charger, that strips around 25% of the pop-up

RPi-zero 2 W heat issues
I just checked (left the rig so I could access it remotely with VNC) and it is 35% or less on the CPU running Fldigi, but not much to decode right now. With WSJT-X it sits at around 10% and jumps to 4

Similar issue with mine and it was the Pi-zero that was bad and failing to ever complete a boot up. Replacement has worked flawlessly ever since. =Vic=

Older thread, but I am now using the Pi-zero with PSK-31. The trick is using a more simplified program. LinPSK works like a charm and offers several modes including PSK31 and RTTY. The latest version
