Normally you can find the wifiantenna at the board edge... On ALL wifi things i have seen..be it a router or a wifidongle.. the antenna was on the pcb edge or corner... Should be easy to find I have a

It's a linear regulator... that's what they do, turn excess energy into heat. If it drops 7V at 1A you're burning 7W. Not sure where you get the 2W number from? 73 de heinz, VK2STM
